Throwback Thursday: Veer Zaara

Namaste all!

The next song in the series, which-girl-needs-five-minutes-alone-with-SRK-in-the-swiss-alps-this-girl series, I bring you this lovely song from Veer Zaara, “Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hain Kahan”, a lovely song with plenty of almost sultry kisses.  I haven’t seen many of Preity Zinta’s movies surprisingly, as she is definitely my favorite Bollywood actress, but mostly for her off-screen charitable and entrepreneurial work.

So enjoy, I’ll be finishing this installment last week.

Video from xtremehighquality2, an excellent source for Bollywood film videos with English subtitles that I highly recommend!  I only wish they would upload more!

P.S.  I am going to be a little cheeky and include a link to my earlier Throwback Thursday post on Mohabbatein, because I realized after the fact that I should have included it in the series properly.  I must have been daydreaming about being in those Swiss Mountains with SRK longer than I thought.

Throwback Thursday: Darr Revisited

Namaste all!

For the two or three people who have been following my blog, you will note that I recently started a theme for my Throwback Thursdays.  The theme is: this-girl-has-not-had-a-vacation-in-way-too-long-and-needs-a-five-minute-holiday-with-SRK-in-the-Swiss-Alps.  Or something to that effect.

To that end, please enjoy this lovely song from Darr, with a fantasy scene showcasing Juhi Chawla and Shahrukh Khan.  It has all the classic elements: chiffon saris, crazy sweaters, and Udit Narayan and Lata Mangeshkar of course!

Throwback Thursday: Dholna

So I might have threatened last week to do a series of I-need-a-five-minute-vacation-with-SRK-in-the-Swis-Mountains videos.  It was a pretty easy series to put together, considering how many of these Swiss Alps romantic interludes King Khan has done over his career.  So for this week’s offering, please enjoy “Dholna”, from Dil to Pagal Hai, a classic from SRK’s “Rahul” phase.  Sadly this one does not do much credit to Madhuri Dixit’s amazing dancing abilities, but it’s a sweet video nonetheless.

Throwback Thursday: Hum to Deewane Hue Yaar…

Welcome to another weekly installment of Throwback Thursday! Today’s selection doesn’t really have much of a theme, apart from the I-am-so-sick-of-being-at-work-and-I-could-really-use-a-five-minute-alpine-vacation-with-SRK theme.

Come to think of it, I bet I could actually do a whole series of those…
